O Japão tem uma "manha" de tocar Power metal diferente de outros países, acredito que eles criaram uma nova forma ou escola para o estilo, pois todas a bandas que encontro de lá, pode ser do Extreme black ao Progressive, sempre terão uma ou duas coisas que os indentificam, isso sem contar a língua.

Mais uma poderosa banda da terra do sol nascente, recomendo!!

Após alguns anos tocando em bandas locais, em 1997 o guitarrista Rafael Romani resolve retomar os estudos e procura uma escola de música. Lá, ele conhece o professor de guitarra Renato Manso e o baixista Leandro Bortoletto e juntos formam o Stonehenge. Assistindo a algumas apresentações dos alunos da escola, conhecem o vocalista Marcelo Alves e o baterista Thiago Siqueira e os convidam para se juntar à banda. No ano seguinte começam a se destacar na região pela qualidade dos músicos na execução de covers e em pouco tempo, Rafael Romani e Leandro Bortoletto já faziam parte do time de professores da escola.

Com a boa resposta em diversos festivais, decidem começar a gravar algumas idéias e no meio do processo, o vocalista Marcelo Alves é substituído por Luciano Gutierrez. A banda então sofre algumas mudanças em seu estilo, agora apresentando elementos mais progressivos tanto em suas músicas quanto nos covers apresentados ao vivo.

Em 2002 são convidados a participar da Coletânea Rock Soldiers Vol. 7 com distribuição no Brasil e na Alemanha, com a música Above Them All. Durante as gravações para a coletânea, Leandro Bortoletto decide sair para se dedicar a outros projetos e Rafael Romani grava o baixo para cumprirem o prazo do lançamento.

Com a mudança de estilo veio também a necessidade de um tecladista e Thomás Barcelos, a princípio como convidado, se junta à banda que passa a se chamar ANSATA, por se tratar de um nome que refletia melhor o estilo das composições.

Mesmo sem um baixista, resolvem retomar as gravações mas desta vez quem abandona a banda é Renato Manso. Devido a esse acontecimento, a banda decide permanecer com apenas um guitarrista e tornar Thomás um membro fixo dando ao teclado um papel mais importante.

Com mais uma gravação interrompida e sem um baixista fixo, continuam a se apresentar em vários lugares como Black Jack (São Paulo), Festival do Equinócio (Rio Claro) e Metal Rebellion (Ribeirão Preto) ao lado de bandas como Versover, HAL9000, Death Slave, Andralls, Hawkana, e em 2004 resolvem parar por um tempo para que os integrantes possam cuidar de seus projetos pessoais.

Mesmo durante essa pausa, os integrantes não deixaram de tocar juntos em outras bandas como Fireball (tributo a Deep Purple) e Trilithon (Hard/Classic Rock), onde conheceram Malagueta (Ex-Freehand, Ex-Ivory Gates). (Lastfm)

Sabaton é uma banda de power metal sueca criada em 1999 da qual usa temas sobre a guerra em suas músicas.

Em 1999 Joakim Brodén, Rickard Sundén, Oskar Montelius, Daniel Mÿhr , Daniel Mullback e Pär Sundström juntaram-se para formar uma banda. Depois das primeiras músicas serem gravadas a banda começou a receber convites de gravadoras. Em 2000 é apresentado o promo cd "Fist for Fight", que inclui um cover Ken Kelly (Manowar).

Um ano depois deste lançamento, a banda grava o primeiro álbum, "Metalizer". Em seguida, Sabaton percorre a Suécia, enquanto espera que a gravadora lance o seu primeiro álbum. Entretanto, decidem gravar outro álbum, sem apoio financeiro da gravadora. "Primo Victoria" é o nome escolhido para o terceiro cd da banda. A gravadora Black Lodge mostra interesse no trabalho da banda e acabam por assinar contrato. "Attero Dominatus" (Julho de 2006), o quarto trabalho, é uma continuação dos temas de Primo Victoria.

E assim, a banda ganha reconhecimento pelo resto do mundo, principalmente na Ásia e América.

"The Art of War" é um bombástico álbum, cheio de melodias e um estilo bem interessante de Power Metal, só ouvindo para conhecer! Recomendo, esse vale a pena!! \,,/!! Recomendado pelo Sir Lionheart!!

Power Quest nasceu na Inglaterra em Março de 2000 por iniciativa do tecladista que queria fazer uns sons na linha do Stratovarius, Rhapsody of Fire e do Freedom Call.
Lançaram seu primeiro álbum em 2002 e obtiveram grande repercução na Europa e na Ásia…
Com um som bem envolvente e afinados músicos, os caras mandam muito bem. "Neverworld" mantém a velha fórmula de bandas de Power, ou seja, poder e mais poder por todos os lados!! Recomendo!!

Essa banda conheci apenas dias atrás. Foi uma indicação do chapa Sir Lionheart, ele disse que parecia muito com Rhapsody of Fire. Quando li isso, fui da uma conferida no som dos caras. Ora, parecido com R0F? Duvido! Pensei. Bem, o som dos caras não é parecido com o RoF, desculpa Sir Lionheart, a trupe do Luca Turilli ainda é inalcansável no quesito Symphonic metal.

Mas, Thy Majestie sabe fazer um tremendo e portentoso Symphonic metal! "Hastings 1066" é puro e simplesmente uma maravilhosa saga de batalhas, com coros e sinfonias por todos os lados. Você sente-se um guerreiro(a) que irá brandir sua espada e lutará pela ordem e justiça!

Recomendo, essa banda é devastação!! \,,/!

Alguém conhece um país chamado Ciprus? E se eu disser República do Chipre? Ficou mais fácil, agora? Bem, se não conhece, explico, afinal sou professor de Geografia. Colonizado desde do século XIV antes de Cristo, Chipre, é uma ilha que fica no Mar Mediterrâneo ao sul da Turquia. Já foi palco de vários batalhas históricas por estar situada em uma area que interligava o comércio naquela região, séculos antes de Cristo. Só virou uma República em 1960, mas até esse ano, foi dominado pelos Romanos, Gregos, Turcos e Inglaterra.

Pronto. Vamos agora falar da Banda. Winter´s Verge é uma banda super poderosa vinda dos confins do Mar Mediterrâneo. Com grande qualidade no instrumental no decorrer do álbum, belos riffs e melodias limpas. Recomendo!

Formada desde de 1991, os caras do Revoltons fizeram covers de várias bandas de Hard Rock até 1997. Entrou e saiu gente da banda ate que em 2001 eles resolveram lançar duas Demos intituladas " See You Soon In The End Of Time" e "The Autumn Believer" da linha progressive rock, mas em 2002 morre o baterista Pietro Corona, só tinha 22 anos quando faleceu. A banda da uma parada até 2003, onde finalmente lançam um álbum "Night Visions".

Depois de quase seis anos sem lançar nada, eles estão de volta, mostrando uma competência musical muito interessante de ouvir. "Underwates Bells" é bem produzido, musical e contagiante. Principalmente a faixa "Berseker". Mais uma poderosa banda da Itália que merece ser reconhecida. Recomendo.

Vinda da Ilha Encantada, Renascent é brutal! Usando de uma forma bem devastadora e agressiva o melodic death black metal, essa banda que faz música para cristo me surpreendeu.

Possui uma musicalidade perfeita. Melodias agressivas com arranjos sempre em alta pressão. Destaco a qualidade da voz de Eero Tertsunen, o cara faz um gutural bem moderno e com retoques de death super elaborados. Destaco ainda os teclados, sempre pomposos e com notas disonantes que o black melódico sabe fazer como ninguém. Recomendo, essa banda é Poder!! \,,/!

Singular e emocionante banda da Itália que chama atenção pela qualidade do som e de seus integrantes. Coisa de primeira qualidade mesmo, cada faixa mostra uma autonomia musical, cada uma tem uma história com um final não muito feliz. Muito interessante de ouvir e apreciar!

Destaco as passagens instrumentais com grande teor introspecto e progressivo e belos arranjos. Recomendo!!

Além de achar a capa desse álbum super criativa, a banda se mostra bem versátil em todas as faixas. Eles foram bem criativos em denominar nove sindromes que levam o ser humano para o estágio da brutalidade insana de querer matar milhões por motivos dúbios e fúteis.

Destaco todos os integrantes da banda, principalmente a bateria de Piotr Wojcik, bem devastadora! Criativa, poderosas e agressiva Forgotten Souls, recomendo todo o álbum! \,,/!
